Gambro's AK 200 S dialysis machine is designed to perform hemodialysis treatment on a patient.
The blood monitor controls and supervises the extracorporeal blood circulation. A single needle treatment can be performed with a single pump (double clamp function) or with two pumps (BM 202 only). To prevent clotting, an anticoagulant can be administered by means of a heparin pump.
The dialysate monitor delivers the dialysis fluid under temperature, conductivity and pressure conditions according to given specifications. It monitors the dialysis fluid. The device allows acetate and bicarbonate treatments.
