The MAMMOMAT 1000 mammography unit is designed for high patient throughput and is mainly used for screening.

Features:

• Universal mammography system for screening, diagnosis and on standing, seated or recument patients
• The system consists of an examination stand and a microprocessor-controlled, high-frequency generator
• Motorized, height-adjustable object table
• Motorized, isocentric rotation of the swivel arm with preset rotation angle, other angles preselectable
• Opcomp – microprocessor-controlled automatic compression device to optimize compression force for the best image quality and low dose
• Digital stand display in an easy-to-view position showing compression force, compressed breast thickness and projection angle. LEDs indicate optimized compression and system ready for exposure
• Control panel on the generator or on the radiation shield. The control panel displays all relevant exposure parameters and operator messages
• Opdose – Pre-programmable exposure parameters for optimized patient dose, selection of 4 different programs
• AEC Automatic Exposure Control
• Integrated positioning/collimator light
• Object table with Bucky 18 cm x 24 cm
