The Mastercycler personal is a PCR instrument for all molecular biology and biochemistry research laboratories.
The temperature is controlled by Peltier elements, which allow extremely fast temperature changes of up to 3 °C per second. The temperature of the samples can thus be controlled extremely quickly between 4 °C and 99 °C.
A special "tube control" mode has been developed to control the temperature of samples in different tubes with different filling volumes.
The thermoblock was designed as a universal block that can accommodate microtiter plates in 5 x 5 format, 25 0.2 ml Eppendorf PCR test tubes, 16 0.5 ml thin-walled Eppendorf PCR test tubes or other suitable tubes without the block having to be replaced.
To prevent condensation, the instrument has a heated lid that fits all tubes perfectly.
The instrument is easy to use, with a user guide available on the integrated display.
